Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to and use of this website. Visiting a page, reading content, or using a search tool shows acceptance. Do not continue if you disagree with them.

NO FCRA USE. This website is privately owned and run. It has no affiliation with any local, state, or federal government body. Neither this site nor any of our advertising partners offer services meant for credit checks, employment screening, insurance underwriting, tenant evaluation, or any other use covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We exist to help visitors find criminal-record resources in Autauga County and Alabama. We are not a private investigation firm, and we are not a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This private reference site is independent of every government office. It neither stores official records nor retrieves checks or files paperwork for a user.

Its function is to identify Autauga County and Alabama record custodians, including the sheriff, criminal courts, ALEA repository, and state registry, while also providing access to separately operated search tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use is allowed only if you agree not to:

  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information found here or through a linked service may not be used to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate. Alabama places specific limits on misuse of Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Sex Offender Registry information, and an unlawful act against a listed person or reported address can bring civil or criminal consequences. Registry access supports lawful public awareness, never vigilantism.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not prepare consumer reports, credit files, or official background checks. Data from this site or a linked tool may not be used to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A legally permissible consumer report must come through a service authorized for that purpose, not from this website.

5. No Legal Advice

General descriptions of Autauga County records are not legal advice. Only a licensed Alabama attorney can advise how a charge, warrant, conviction, or expungement law applies to specific facts.

6. No Warranties

All services and content are supplied "as is," without a promise that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Charges, dispositions, access rules, sealing, and expungement status can change. No content here is an official statement from a court, sheriff, or other agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

External links lead to government pages, legal resources, and independent search providers that we do not operate. Their content, prices, data practices, availability, and terms remain their responsibility.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Autauga County Criminal History or the relevant content partner. Copying, adapting, or distributing them requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from use of this site, its content, or a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, actions, legal fees, and related costs caused by your use or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Alabama law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to use of the website must be brought in a court located in Alabama.

12. Changes to These Terms

Revised terms take effect when posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or ended at any time, with or without notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue. The affected text is adjusted only as far as needed to make it enforceable.

15. Questions

Questions about these terms may be directed through the Contact page.
